SECURED CHECKOUT

The Chick Night Light from LuminaryHome is a small, sculpted bird that glows from the inside, and it hits the exact point where cute stops being cloying. The rounded body diffuses the light evenly, so it gives a soft, warm pool rather than a hard bulb glare.

It runs from USB, which means it plugs into a power bank, a laptop, a wall adapter or the socket already behind the bedside table - no batteries to replace and nothing to unscrew. That makes it easy to move between a nursery shelf, a desk, a hallway and a party table without planning around it.

Two designs are offered, a chick and a duck, and a pair together makes a natural Easter or spring centrepiece. Beyond Easter it works year round as a child's night light, a shelf ornament in a kids' room, or a decoration for a carnival or birthday table. Do not leave it within reach of a sleeping infant, and route the cable safely away from cots and beds. The cable is long enough to reach a socket behind furniture, and the light output is deliberately low, so it can be left on through the night without washing out a dark room or disturbing anyone sleeping in it.
