Collapsible Wooden Trivets with Heat Resistant Surface | Kicks & Crawls

Collapsible Wood Trivet for Easy Storage Between Meals

Your countertop gets scorched rings every time you set down hot pans. You're grabbing dish towels in a rush and they slide around or bunch up under heavy cookware, risking spills and burns. Protect surfaces during dinner prep, when serving guests at the table, or while moving hot dishes from stove to counter safely.

You simply pull the outer edges to expand the cross-shaped frame, creating a stable platform for pots and pans of various sizes. The solid wood construction naturally insulates your delicate tables and granite counters from extreme heat sources. When the meal is over, the unit collapses into a slim, compact stick shape that fits easily into any utensil drawer.

The natural wood grain adds an elegant touch to your dining setup, looking like a deliberate piece of decor rather than just a utility item. It features a smooth finish that won't scratch glass or polished wood surfaces. The mechanism is designed to hold heavy cast iron skillets or large soup pots without buckling under the weight.

The trivet measures approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm) in diameter when fully expanded but folds down to a width of just 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) for storage. It is lightweight at roughly 0.5 pounds (0.23 kg), making it easy to grab for quick tasks. Plus, the open design allows air to circulate under the pot, helping to dissipate heat faster than solid mats.
