My son refuses to take it off

We bought this for a party and my son Mateo has essentially lived in it since. He wore it to breakfast, to the backyard, and tried to wear it to bed twice. He calls himself the island chief and patrols the living room defending us from imaginary sea monsters. The obsession level took us by surprise honestly.
