Comic convention debut went great

I signed up for my first comic convention this fall and wanted a sci-fi hero look that didn't require me to build anything from scratch. This set was exactly right. The top and pants matched perfectly out of the box and I paired them with boots I already owned. Walked the convention floor for about seven hours and got stopped for photos more times than I expected for a first timer. My friend Dave came in his own costume and we photographed together near the main stage. The whole outfit held up through a long day of walking and sitting at panels. Already planning which look to build for next year's con. Great starter cosplay.

Husband finally committed to Halloween

my husband Ryan has refused to dress up for Halloween our entire marriage. This year I ordered him this space hero set and left it on the bed. He rolled his eyes but tried it on, and something about the bold red and gray design won him over. He wore it to our friend Steve's Halloween party and had, in his words, the most fun he's had at a party in years. The complete set meant he didn't have to piece anything together, which was probably why he agreed at all. Steve's wife Amanda took photos we're still laughing about.
